BIOGRAPHY
As songwriter, producer, A&R executive, and former co-manager of Carly Rae Jepsen (who’s “Call Me Maybe” sold over 21 million singles worldwide), John has written, produced or A&R’d 13 Top 10 singles and 17 Top 40 hits, selling over 43 million albums worldwide. John recently contributed a song to the Academy Award winning film Nebraska.
John had his first Top 10 single, the smash U.S. hit “Heaven In Your Eyes” from the Top Gun soundtrack, selling over 18 million albums worldwide.
John then followed up with the #12 U.S. hit “We Can Last Forever” by Chicago, whose Chicago 19 and subsequent greatest hits releases have totalled over 12 million in sales globally. John continued to co-write and produce other platinum and gold selling artists including Melissa Etheridge, David Foster, Bif Naked, Cheap Trick, Quarterflash, Platinum Blonde, Alias, Mel Torme, Starship, Autograph, The Motels., West End Girls, d-cru and soundtracks such as Bob Dylan’s “Hearts Of Fire”, “Dream A Little Dream” and Sandra Bullock’s “Two If By Sea”.
